A wife of a coworker wanted this stone in a simple bronze setting. My first work with soldering bronze and I think it turned out pretty nice. I have no idea what the stone is. Her daughter found it in British Columbia and it was hard enough to take a nice shine (I was supprised) I had the bronze on hand for just standard metal smithing and had the color match solder from Rio. This solder matched perfectly, unlike their copper solders which suck. This bronze took an incredible shine and the little flaws you see in the images are impossible to see with the naked eye. The cameras today hide no secrets:) I am quite happy with this. Thanks for looking.

Well, she's not exactly a rock star, but I guess pop star is close enough.
