A high school buddy asked me if I could put together a little rock collection for his daughter. Last year she asked for a tumbler, and while I think they have run into some trouble (he hasn't asked for help, I have offered) his little girl is still interested in rocks. I put together a bundle of goodies, including one of the River Agates that John Thunder69 sent me, a topaz that rockroller Roland and I found together on our first outing in Western Utah, and a grape agate that I found with the help of Dave 1dave. I had fun putting together the not-very-technical guide for the collection and thought I'd share it here. I'm curious what folks think. It took a while and a lot of trial and error, but I did have fun. Also I hate Microsoft now Here's the link (if you are prompted to create an account or sign in, just click the "no thanks" link at the bottom of the message)

Wow!!! Nice rock collection. She should be thrilled with it and hopefully stoke that fire back up regarding the tumbler!!!
Great job, John!

John, that is really cool! Concise information that tells just about all a beginner rockhound might need to know. You've got a few things there that we collected together and those are some great memories! ~Roland
