Ed,You hit the nail on the head.it is half a heart/broken.its for a buddy of mine that had a long time girlfriend put his through the ringer,then left him high and dry.

I had person asking me about making friendship hearts. ya know... the one half go off with a person because the two are separated. They do those with metal. Why not rock?
Its kind of the opposite of what you created But then.. there is a lot of break up half hearts out there. It may be an idea either way.... interlocking metal?
Your metal work & stone is fabulous.

This is incredible. The stone and polish are top-notch, the design and execution are stellar, and the story really seals the deal. My sympathies to your buddy, and I hope that your work helps him feel loved in friendship.
