Someone told me that there is a drill press available for lapidary work that auto-cycles up and down to clear the bore hole. I've checked my catalogs and can't seem to locate one. Has anyone heard of such a machine?

The Covington is sold at Dad's Rock Shop and Kingsley North.
Crown Manufacturing used to make a nice one.
This one sold on eBay in October. Keep your eyes open, they pop up from time to time. |

Or you could always watch for one of these to come on the market.  It takes up a lot more room than the Covington drill, but these were made to last a lifetime. |

I had a crown drill earlier this year but it sold pretty quickly.
It is a pretty cool unit.
