or what happens if they cranks up the X-Ray machine Good Afternoon everyone Big game day today so I’m only doing some light polishing This heart was part of yesterday rework I just snapped the picture and its such a bright, warm sun shiny day I got serious overexposure effects from the black rock back-ground Move the rock a few degrees and I got a more précis picture It could be a January/March birthstone heart. That one side as garnet in and the other side resembles bloodstone,. well thanks for looking Go Cards! Ed

Thanks Chuck!!! yep it comes close to bloodstone and I'm not sure that garnet it may be some type of corundum in Fuchsite? so it may not be birthstone heart at all just a fancy serpentine

ruby in fuschite. I have a love hate relationship with cabbing that stuff. Hard and soft mixed together.

yep-- do you think that what it is?
the fuschite matrix seem more stable/fibery --like serpentine then the zoesite --which is more of a looser crystalline matrix which makes the fuschite a bit easier for grinding the harder part of the corundum I think

Yee haw!!!! Ed offered this beauty to me!!!! I am Mostly luvin this heart as his greatest!!!!! right on Bill!!! I have the ‘fancy serpentine’ packaged & ready to post! It a classic rock’n heart for sure! When do you expect to be back home? Or do you have someone picking up your mail? I’ll send this immediately If you would have any small pieces of chrysoprase, tourmaline in matrix, or even low grade opal rough then I can start your & Susan's birthstone combo. Tough stones to find! Let me know when to post! mostly

I was mentioning earlier how the previous heart could possibly be birthstone combo. Garnet for January and the fancy jasper which resembles bloodstone This bloodstone/rubyzo combo heart is the birthstones for March- July mohs

I like this heart! Something about it. It rocks. Know I’ve posted it before. so sorry I made it a long time ago. Over the years I’ve tried to bring out the best shine. It’s a rock I found. Not sure what type of mineral make up it may be? The black spots might be manganese? It softer than the pink. That may be what holds it back from a super shine. But I’ve only worked it up to 3000 grit and ZAM polishing. Yet- I like it !
