Jax looking down from the top of the mountain we were at.  Taking a little break after a long climb up.  Dad, look at all the copper rocks I found.  I made a little den.  Our 205 pound haul of malachite, turquoise and other copper rocks.  Some of our favorites.   Found this one at the bottom of the mountain. Lots of interesting colors.  |

What a beautiful dog!!!! Looks like a working cattle and sheep dog,I use to see in Montana a lot...

What a beautiful dog!!!! Looks like a working cattle and sheep dog,I use to see in Montana a lot... Looks like you scored some nice rock too...Great photos!! Thanks. Yes, she is an Australian cattle dog (blue heeler), which is a mix of dingo, kelpie, dalmatian and collie. They are high endurance and the second smartest dog there is so she makes a great hiking companion. She loves to climb, dig, chase things and explore. |
