I realize that Mexican lace agates are softer than Lake Superior agates, but are they close enough that they can be tumbled together? Thanks in advance for your response.

I tumbled some "Lakers" and fossil together,the fossils beat up my "Lakers"!! So I think your good to go on the lace and lakers...

hogan I have tumbled those two stone together several times. They play nice together. The lace may finish faster as the lakers are tough little buggers.
