Dinner at a Turkish fast food brothel style These two pecker heads testing me till forced to use body language on them. They had to harass till I was pissed, then "we cool, we cool". Not from the real hood. Note lady watching, she knew I had had enough of them dancing in front of the photo shoot. Never know about them young bucks. Ended up all in fun. Shit heads. Famous biker bar Garnets of black marble at 10th and Peachtree (Ritz I think) JugglerguyAtlanta Stove Works converted to lofts. Got a 1950 wood stove from them; principle source of heat in winter. Across street is Krog Street Market Krog Street tunnel Can't remember, but the pizza inside is off the chart. Grungers and redneck hang out. Cheapest beer. Graffiti contracted Finally got this shot after the brothers walked away, a bit crooked, they made me nervous. Backs up to bike/hike trail(Belt Way). Drink and walk. Tex Mex at infamous Little Five Points. You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant. Same with Little Five Points. Warehouse and operations entry to 'King of Pops'. Highly successful ice-cream-in-a-cart biz. Young folks peddle ice-cream all over the city for this operation. Well known permit obstruction, politics at work. Ice cream bars delicious.

James, you sure can pack allot of culture into one trip to town! Do you ever worry about your bike being nabbed? Usually park out in the wide open at busy areas. It is not a valuable machine, so don't worry that much. Went through the West End most of the trip. Had no SD card and no store to sell one for ten miles. No stores, no kidding. Stopped in the West End warehouse district. Snuck in to the massive run down Metropolitan Lofts and parked outside of a large space and watched them filming a semi porn film lol. Dang SD card. Will go back, art work of insanity in that place. West End a bit unnerving for my shade Bill.

Looks like a nice ride around, James. I'm sure your bike got some comments. I can see you know your way around...the unseen side of hotlanta that tourists mostly miss.

That area is about 25 miles from the house Ed. The ten miles through the West End is when you hope nothing breaks. But the West Side has some of the real city and old Atlanta. Landmarks, loft and warehouse districts. Scrap iron places, discount boxes, used appliances, vacated industrial sites. Lots of deals on stuff to repurpose.

Yeah, the old parts of cities get taken over by the seedier ones lots of times but yet that is the historical part. Some cities rock along until one day they get the bright idea to "reclaim" and "rehabilitate" these old sections....gee, why'd they let'em get run down and wasted to start with??? Anyhow, I love folks that like their faces in other folks' photos...faces are handy to have for different projects. Seems they would figure that out one day... You making a portfolio for the bike? Maybe hoping movie makers need a badass bike for heavy rents? Rode 25 miles to, all over town, no helmet. Amazed no one stopped me, passed at least 8 police. Not a strict area. Cycles and scooters promoted down there. DUI on a cycle probably less likely. Great for parking. Scooter rentals big. Just the food is worth the visit, any kind you want. Very active spot. Prefer to take the Honda 100 trail bike. No lights, guessing they will not stop you during day on that one either. May put battery LED lights on it and weld up a carrier for the receiver hitch and take it behind the truck. Old bikes a hit down there. Guys our age always asking about it, kids too. The movie bunch can buy vehicles like that w/their budgets. Doubt they want mine.

You need to make a sound tape of it.........................................MrP Not so loud MrP. It has a baffle in all 4 pipes. Cut the pipes off and welded 1.5(1.25 ??) inch water pipe to them still mounted on engine. about 10 inches long. Bought some $5 baffles made for Triumph and old Harley straight pipes. Baffles for 1.5 inch pipe and are 8 inches long. Easy to do. Sound was great and a couple of cycle shops wanted to know the formula. Sound Baffles. Can be cut shorter to make loud. Supply plenty of back pressure judging from the jetting to get proper exhaust temp. Helped performance with re-jet. www.ebay.com/itm/8-EXHAUST-BAFFLE-FOR-1-1-2-INCH-PIPES-ON-MOTORCYCLES-/131781225429?hash=item1eaec5ebd5:g:oQMAAOxySoJTTVTC&vxp=mtr

Mine was a lot louder especially after I put the 850 kit in it. Man I sure wish I still had that one but as wicked as it was after the kit was installed I probably would have ended up dead. Not many brains riding a high power bike when I was in my early 20's......................MrP

This one is nothing like an oversize. And the new bikes half it's size will leave these in the dust MrP. 20 years old behind the throttle is a recipe for disaster. Stop by a dealer and test ride a new 750, holy cow those things will give you motion sickness. Smooth and quiet, but deceivingly fast.
