Been finding a lot of chert lately. Most of these have nice colors. Took 1 hour total time, and yes, I did walk about 3000’ total on edge of field and in pastures. See, I am listening, but my foot was very sore after. Also found some etceteras, including more fossil coral and a nice blue/white quartz type magnetic rock. If anyone wants to trade for chert, let me know, as there is a lot more out there.

Yes I do. Sold mine long ago. Also the small lapidary band saw I had. First I have to find another part time job. then will be able to get back into making my own jewelry stones again. I am saving most of my finds for that day, hopefully within a year.
This place is really amazing and I know there is a lot more out there to find.
