Kitchen cabinet hardware

[Drummond Island Rocks]

This was a commissioned order for some kitchen cabinet knobs. These are going back to Drummond Island where I found the rocks so that is always cool.

Some nice looking material to start with always helps


Grinding circles is never fun but I hate drilling so core drills are not an option.



Here is my tip of the day. All prefab hardware is very smooth and slick. I always use a die grinder with an aggressive burr to create a random pattern of cuts so the epoxy gets maximum bite. I also hit the back of the cabs for a few seconds on a 80 grit flat lap to scuff those too.


Will be delivered tomorrow. Hope fully the customer is happy.

This set is going to be going into a log cabin. The owner collects pudding stones and has them as landscaping around the house so these will fit right in.
