To be useful, this may explain the term "lens" when it comes to jade. I have personally played with jade lenses very lens shaped and they roll like a wheel!

Thank you for the geology lesson, seriously. I would have been like, "ooh, those are cool... rocks or whatever... They look like eyeballs. The hills have eyes..."
As I spend more time on here, I am really loving what I am learning about not just rock tumbling, but about rocks. Where they come from, the chemical compositions, how they form...
They are beautiful, but understanding them, even just at a superficial level, makes me appreciate them more.
