Even if I can find a rental I still need to buy a trailer and register it to move the animal out there. Would be easier to to hire some sherpas.

You will be surprised. Renting the pack animal includes the trailer and stuff. Sometimes they deliver. I looked into it for bear hunting in a wilderness.

Ideally what I would like to do is to restore the old cable system that was used to bring the ore down to the bottom on the mountain.
