hello everyone as some of you know I have been lucky enough to score a vintage rock collection along with some equipment I picked up,i am going to be posting picks of the collection finds here as I get to them as far as it goes I think this collection is mostly old stock material due to the fact the collection has been sitting since 1978, hope you all enjoy. here is most of the collection when it got to its new home altogether I would say over a ton! this is the first rock that cought my eye in a antique steel basket full of rocks I think where waiting their turn in the saw?i have no idea what it is? I think this is indian blanket lace agate/ lots of petrified woods lots of variety! some nice horn coral! very nice purple calico lace agate! I think this is crazy lace? jasper I think? very nice tigers eye with a small piece of mamba I think ?let me know if you think that small piece is a mamba?thanks, random slab still putting all the pieces of this puzzle toghteher! nice!!that's all for now thanks for looking!

Thanks everyone! Found another big chunk of wonder stone to add to that box in the picture, the rock in the photo of the wonder stone looks like an Indian bird symbol to me? I'm in the process of recovering from a rock overdose!

Looks like between machines and rocks you made quite a deal, probably take days just to see it all.

Holy Moley! Did you step in it, or what!!! Great save. There is probably an old rockhound in heaven smiling down after seeing his things being rescued and cared for.

Well, I pickup a old rock collection early this year and after sorting through all of the boxes of rocks. Some of the boxes had price tags....a pair of shoes back when they collected was $3.48. The rocks are cool but the boxes ....are cool too.
