Been trying to do this. Finally figured it out on a Mac iPhoto. Still figuring how to size photos so they are all equal, final adjustments, etc using 'contact sheet' commands. A cool way to market your wares. Tantalize customers with your stuff in a quicky/easy open view. Saved pdf from iPhoto 'contact sheet' as jpeg(via export command) and then saved to downloads. Opened individually from downloads and then shared to flickr. Rotated gives more RTH screen width...

Example for my fire pit biz. Individual photos sized and converted to white back ground using www.pixelz.com/features/ at a cost of $1-$2 each.

Time to go sit in deer stand, visiting hunter's. Must show them how's done.

Well that took no time. I guess if all the does are hanging out at your place, you just have to sit back and wait.

Garage Rocker @shotgunner My buddies are pissed. Shot it, removed hams and head and had it in fridge before they got out of the woods. Yes, just the hams, deer are over populated here so the wardens want us to kill as many as we can. If using my farm permit during off season the law says we can kill them but we are not allowed to use the meat(prevents black market meat enterprises using farm permits). I cut the hams off of all of them in the field. During season or when protecting my crop off-season. The over population causes Blue Tongue disease and is a cruel death. I did not tell my buddies until they returned and finished their first after-hunt coffee so reality would bite deeper. Three more days, I hope to get 6 more for their coolers, to 'rub' them. Bitter grapes, deep satisfaction. I even dropped them at their stands and started almost 2 hours after them. I reminded them of that too. We go thru this every year. They hate my advise. They do not pay attention to the wind direction that I give them every hunt. They won't take my advise on where to hunt. They won't get near me when I smoke thinking it will mess up their hunt due to making them oderiferous. I smoked 3 cigarettes in the stand. They used climbing stands and I sat on a diary crate on the ground. I had two does walk up on me whilst dismantling the deer 5 minutes apart from each other. Lucky for them I did not bring my gun(came back for a coffee and left gun). They got up and left after they had heard enough. Buck and doe in a dead sprint. Doe runs right at me. Does a 90 hauls ass, buck stopped 3 seconds too long to figure her reaction out. Boom ! Dry deep leaves, heard them from 300 yards out. Had bead drawn.

Revenuer's cautious in Kentucky. They disappear mysteriously. Wind in face, all is OKAY, and time to eat. Two of my visitors are from Florida where deer are small, hope they get a monster.

It's a great quick free image manipulator, and really great at automating tasks like this. It has a very nice Batch mode, so you can rename, resize, sharpen, etc all the images you'd like with a few clicks. Contact sheets are also available from the thumbnail view. Ever wish to rename a couple thousand images? or resize hundreds of images to post on the web? If you know the pics are going to end up for a contact sheet like this, you can try to take reproducible photos, eg fit the rock in the middle square., use a distinct solid background. For your images, in irfanview, I'd select them, run a batch to resize them (saves to new directory), open the directory with the resized ones, print a contact sheet. There of course are options for resizing, you can get away with minor stretching to make them all nice and squarel, but other wise you could just have the height or width matching the max... Given the varied backgrounds/with the rocks at hand it seems hard to imagine an easy automated background removal here. If you download irfanview, get the plugin package at the same time, some cool features in that tiny fast program, Think there's even a paint option...

Sounds right up the alley. The functions of the contact sheet may be more complex using iPhoto. The iPhoto is a bit bassackwards in that the contact sheet commands are in the 'print' command. Then pdf to jpeg conversion via download step, seems antiquated. Uploaded Safari recently and it has a new photo program 'Photo'. It seems easy enough. Not sure what it's capabilities are. Then flickr has 'Aviary' allowing decent manipulations right in the host sight for the minor manipulations. Handy that one. Now background removal is a bump, pixelz.com charges to do it, not going there for rocks. Messy areas occurred even with pixelz's complex program. Been looking for a Mac friendly photo shop and thanks.

Tried GIMP oregon. A bit technical for me. Very powerful editor. Made a contact sheet on it and then it started asking for money. (free software). Free means free, so I canned it
