Gloria called the collar colors rockpickerforever . She has a 12 and 16 year old. They are crazy about Keema. Ah, teenagers. That explains it! Glad that he is doing better!

Things are delicate. Disruptions, changes, noises are best avoided. One of us has to stay up and watch Mom 24/7. Last litter the Mom laid down on a pup about day 8 and killed it. Took eyes off Mom not 5 minutes. Biggest chore to having RR pups. Keema is bad about it, had to rescue a dozen times already.
Now Mom has the normal diarrhea that occurs at this time of a litter requiring more disruptions. We sent the 7 month old pup to stay with friends as she would be a serious problem.
Not much sleep around here. Worth the effort, but it is a task.
A single friend Debbie, has several RR's. Performed a breeding and thought she missed ovulation. So she bred her other female that came in 3 weeks later. Ended up they both got pregnant, 15 and 17 puppies, 2 died. She had to do serious feeding rotations, 7 and 8 puppies at a time. Not sure how she did it.

Wife unit comes home from work and first thing out of her is: Is there a puppy update? WELL...??Just as suspected, a bit of wheezing according to Vet. Probably lung damage due to rough birth. Vet says he will be fine, no more steroid treatment. They had their dewclaws removed today. Non-related, met with this film location scout this morning. Got this text this morning: " the director has a full list of places to see in Atlanta, but I’m trying to get him down here today. any trouble landing helicopters on your property? it would be for one of the veitnam scenes. how much green is on your property during January? Mitch Harbeson (p.g.a.) If memory serves: It is a story about a heroic Medic that lost his life helping others into helicopters. Those he saved went to D.C. in 1999 to have him recognized as a hero. True story. They have rented five 1964 Huey's to do a battle scene. He seemed impressed with the property. Wants to bring directors out next week. Huey

Yep it's a super food in minerals and vitamins plus seems to stimulate uterus involution in my opinion. Great news about the movie biz!!! Thanks Bill. The fellow said he would like to clear two 1 acre hill top spots. Spots I have intention of spending 10K to clear if I had the money for a southerly infiltration of select bamboo growth adjacent to them Flat hill tops that would serve well for killer bamboo settings and space for film industry to shoot films against. They need green walls 20-40 feet tall. For fall and winter shooting. Expensive to simulate. They can focus on subject and leave background out of focus for green backdrop. They need green. Over 50 film companies within 25 miles. Listed with Pinewood Fayetteville GA, now the biggest facility in the world. Fun stuff. May be lucrative. May never happen. A gamble.
