Gotta admit... I saw your name and pic and gasped too! OH MY GOSH HOW FUNNY 😂😂 Just seeing if y'all were awake haha. I'm a bit of a minimalist so if that was my workbench I would have had a complete nervous breakdown by now. I know mine is not as bad as I feel like it is. I just need a solid hour or two to put away what seems like every freakin tool I own and find room in the shed for a dozen or so cans of paint. Thanks for letting me borrow your picture wigglinrocks!

This is my work area... ... ... OK, that's not really my work area. It's just a random picture I found on Google ... but that's what my work area feels like right now. Final project painting got done today and only minor tasks to complete like installing new ceiling fan etc. ... another few days and I can turn my complete attention back to cleaning my shop and playing with rocks. Tommy My first thought was 'and this is the guy that is going to run this forum'. Good pic.................................MrP

I do believe if this was a contest you would win. If that is your shop I'd say it would be my favorite.

Well melhill1659, over the years I have instructed women to weld. The mens never ask to be taught for some reason. The ladies do, go figure. Ladies good at it, steady on their feet and nimble fingered. Oh yea, and they listen ha. Warning, welding addictive. My wife's shop in the making. She took over the lower level. The upper level is my dog house. Man needs a fine dog house. amygdule 's office trumps all. Dog house office. Balcony is a fine deer stand.

Hurry and finish Jim. After my week at William Holland in August I can drop by and start my welding class 😂😂

James, men never ask because they already know everything, ha! It amazes me the garbage welds I have seem made by men that think they are welders. Before becoming a machinest, my husband was a welder, so I know what a good weld looks like. I don't have a dedicated work space, so mine is wherever I can clear off a spot to work, lol. Yes, amygdule 's office is top notch. Actually loving all the work spaces and tools.

Outside is best spot for the shop if weather is decent rockpickerforever. For the past 25 years every penny I have earned has been under the open sky. God forbid being forced to work inside. Yesterday I backed my work trailer into the boat trailer tire and tore a 3 inch gash in the sidewall. Proceeded to get on the tractor and clipped a piece of angle iron and tore a 2 inch gash in the side of the tractor front tire. Pulled the work trailer away from the boat trailer and noticed a flat on the work trailer. Denise is picking all 3 up at the tire shop as I type. Wish me better luck today. Men know everything ? Of course, ask our Mother.

No 5,000 sq. ft. hand crafted work shop here, but this is my modest corner of the garage. Old pic, a couple more tumblers under the table and some metal working gear added on shelves. More equipment, but better organized now. The number of buckets of rock haven't changed, that's strategy. The wife sees no change in size of inventory and doesn't complain. She's so far missed the three new tubs full of rough hiding in the basement.
Bonus points if you can name the movie I've got on.
The tile saw only makes an appearance in the outdoor work shop.
It was pointed out that drinking beer and working with power tools is a bad idea. I staged this as a PSA, of course.

See, so it could have been worse, you could have disabled all of them!

Leave it to Jean, rockpickerforever. That took, what, one minute? You are definitely one of my life lines if I make it onto that Millionaire game show.
