Awwwww..... That is so cute! He just wants to wuv you. LOL! That was at Tony's bbq in Quartzsite - it was cooooold....he was keeping me warm and vice-versa haha. He's really funny - always looking for a lap to crawl into. Doesn't realize that he weighs 90 lbs haha. Your Charlie is fun. Sorry Hobo didn't wanna play! Folks Charlie really is a BIG lap dog! And playful and hell.

Your Charlie is fun. Sorry Hobo didn't wanna play! It's all good - the weather made it really difficult. If the dogs had had free run of the campsite for a couple of days to get used to each other it would have been completely different. Charley is usually very good with small dogs and not so intensely curious once they tell him they don't want to play.

Peoples shop area is most interesting. Probably my favorite subject. Can't help but read into people's person when looking at their shop. Ha, think I'm fast ? Age 48 here, took 3 months welding this monster. 300 pounds of welding rod from a ladder tugging 000 welding cable. Sometimes working 40 and 50 hours straight thru. Took 3 months to do the weld it all. Yes, sometimes OC about doing a project. I think I was in the best shape in my life after that 3 months. Get er done, life passing by too fast. One time bust butt project. Never again. Couldn't do it again that fast if I wanted to. Yes those big projects take alot out of you. I had a welder working for me and one of his past projects was to braze the whole out side of the iron man on the "iron man" (third biggest statue in usa) statue in Chisolm MN. I think it took him a summer plus. I have seen that a time or two before..........................................MrP

OK here's the real deal. Once I set my mind to it today I got the workbench cleared off pretty fast - except for the new grinder. Got to pull the other one out for now - the bearings are on their last leg. Feeling highly inspired I actually started and finished a cabochon for the February cabochon contest that everyone needs to enter and support. I'll post it up later after I process the photos. Tommy Interesting water feed setup.......................................MrP

toiv0The industrial scrap yard business closest to home was built by a welder. Eccentric fellow, owned a weld shop and had his workers build the whole compound out of used steel between jobs. He has passed and his sons are running the biz and about at retirement age. He brazed both of his son's steel fireplaces. Built each of them swimming pools out of 1/4" plate steel. His sons find me wondering around in their father's(creations) buildings in a daze looking up at their father's construction. They laugh. Their father had a 3rd grade education, me a big college engineer. Stealing their father's incredible ideas and engineering methods. Cheers to the the Seagraves family ! Here is my tumbling shop. It can be 25F and windy outside and a cozy 70F inside on a sunny day. With ventilation fan below 80F in summer except at high sun. By the way, I have grown a few potted aquatic plants in rock slurry. Saved three five gallon buckets of rock slurry this year to fill pots for planting experiment. Rock slurry without Borax is quite benign. In many cases judging from the condition of the plants reveal excellent micronutrients. Don't be surprised if you have a green spot in your grass where it is dumped. Green and blue rocks may be an exception, like copper kills plants. Part of my aquatic plant business has been planting aquatics to purify polluted water and soils over the years for clients. Copper/coal/aluminum mines, chicken processing operations, sewage, petroleum runoff, municipal water treatment buffers, explosives plant pollutant treatment, etc etc Blood treatment/storage and chicken processing operations not so pleasant. Tumbling shop(snow and 15F outside):

Guessing this one learned the lap position as a pup Tommy. Looks right at home. Pet 'ownership' is in the eye of the beholder.

tommy Interesting water feed setup.......................................MrP And here I thought the first question about my setup would be about the shotgun haha Thank you - it's my newly remodeled plumbed recirculation system. When the water level evaporates down in the tank I spin a valve behind the washer on the other side of the room and refill it. Being an old tropical fish guy, using an aquarium as the tank just seemed natural One of these days I'm going to stick an aquarium heater in it to get the water toasty warm for those cold days at the wheels.

The shotgun is the only one I don't care enough about to protect from all all that moisture flying around haha. I live in an older but pretty good neighborhood except there's a houseful of tweakers living down at the other end of the street. They think it's cute to get leash tugged around the neighborhood by their pitbull - last thing I need is to turn around and find that damn dog coming in my garage ... or a splicer standing behind me haha.

I would so have one, but it would not be fair to the dog with such a small yard. Last dog I had was a crazy a** lab. Loved him to death- His name was Radar. Now, it's cats and they are cool, too, but they just ain't dogs.

Some how some way she asked me coming down the stairs if I had been taking pictures of her shop. She saw the me turn the lights on from upstairs. Suspicious creature.

James, didn't you know that women had eyes in the backs of their heads? Silly man. I was molesting a part of my girlfriend's anatomy in my early 20's as we were walking 5 feet directly behind my grandmother in a grocery store. "Jiiiiiiiim !!!" in that tone of voice that was well known for correcting only the most devious behavior.(heard it many a time) G-Friend swore she had eyes in the back a the head. Yep, that's Mema.
