Yep, lots of gold where our ranch was in Mariposa County. Had the Schoolhouse Gold Mine next door. My rockhounding buddy up there would go out after storms with a glass bottomed box and tweezers and pick nuggets from the stream beds. He'd do well too....Mel

The article talked about that being a place to look.
