Wire bail super picture heavy

Going to try tap a talk for.a show and tell.
This is a wire bail using 14 ga wire.
Cut the wire about 2.5 inch. I over lap just a little then cut both wires.
This app won't let me or I don't know how to write over each pic.
I then solder the ends together.
Bend the wire,wack it with a hammer to give some dimension.
Aneal it then bend in a loop.
For this example I am just putting it on a piece of copper and silver. It is a little off center but the bail is too big for the piece and will be redone​.
Take a tool or knife and pry apart...Polish. my nitch is more a bull with hammer, fine finishing is tough for me.

Thanks for taking the time to do this. Easy to follow with all those pictures. I'll have to remember to add some 14 gauge to my next order and give it a try.

I like how solid those pieces look. What kind of solder do you use?

I use a 20 ga. wire solder. It comes in hard, med, and easy. I think there is an extra easy. I use hard 99 percent of the time even for multiple solders. Hard solder doesn't show joints as easy when it tarnishes because of the higer silver content, it is 75 percent silver. The easy is 65 percent silver and will show a grey line at the solder joint.
