Best way to sell high end agates?

Well...been a few years since I've checked in here...and I see I cannot post to the Sell/Trade board, so I will ask here.
Are there any sites or forums where agate collectors buy/sell? Any places I should look?

Have a good friend who has bought and sold a lot of nice, high end agates over the decades. Tampa bay coral, large polished slabs, very nice halves, shadow agates, laguna, dryhead, condor etc.
We could sell as lots to dealers but he hates the idea of only getting 25 cents on the dollar for his babies. If that's the case, hell for 50 cents on the dollar I plan to buy all his agates to save them from that fate.

Could certainly do ebay with lots and higher starting prices. Luckily he is healthy and not in a huge rush.

But, seriously.... a lot of people do real well selling on facebook. A few members here have FB sales open to other sellers, like roy.

I don't have a facebook page. I am assuming there are groups on FB for Agate Aficionados. Agate Addicts. Agaholics. Agua Nueva Nuts. Baker Ranch Banditos.
Again, they are not mine...doing this for a nice old friend...but when I am considered trusted enough to post on the Buy/sell/Trade board I could put some pics and prices there.
And I resent (not really ;-) being called a new member...look at my posts from 2009 to 2011! just because I had nothing to say for say...oh...6 years. ;-)

Yes there are F/B selling forums with rock,mineral and fossils.....Just search the F/B sites...

Fossilman: Since I can't post in the Sale section until I have 100 posts under my belt...I will get some pics next time I visit him, and post them in the specimen area.
$hotgunner: Ideally this gent would like to sell in batches to keep his collection together. I think this unlikely. So "best" would be where agate collectors who appreciate better specimens and who understand the worth, plus ease of selling in groups, getting most eyes on the items, and preferably where silk clad handmaidens would bring me wine and peeled grapes whilst cooling me with ostrich feather fans. But likely not all these requirements can be met at one time. ;-)

Yes. You can pm me stuff until u earn your 100 posts. Which should take all of an hour if you went into the intro section and said hi to 100 people.
