Absolutely gorgeous Henry. Awesome. Since it was so "inexpensive" you wouldn't mind selling it to me for 20 bucks huh? Grin hehehe A real beauty. What's the history on it? Sometimes that's as good as a specimen.

coloradocliff and spiceman: Unfortunately, not a very glamorous history. Actually, it was one of those "do I really want to take a gamble on something like this on eBay...from China?" Well, it was definitely inexpensive coming from that region. The seller had 100% positive marks with multiple MULTIPLE sales. I bought it and had a local fossil and rock dealer take a look at it. Definitely Madagascar ammonite/ammolite. So the gamble payed off.
