Ryan Where did the material originate from ? Frank Hello shattered! I recently ran into an old friend that I played 6th,7th n 8th grade football with n he grew up on a ranch his grandparents started and left a big rock pile that he said I could look through, I asked about where they're hounding sights may have been but he didn't know, so the closest I can say with confidence is it originated from Colorado Ryan

The material you have here has some potential but it may be better suited for eBay. Remember this forum has some of the best minds in lapidary ,jewelry design and general rockhounding . I have purchased from fish and Vegas James and traded with several others, these folks are so good if they told me the sky was agates, I would grab my rock hammer and start swinging. I would never try to discourage someone from making money, but each rock has a sales venue, they all are different in their own way. Hell even Etsy would be a great place to put a few boxes up for sale, may take a bit but sooner or later someone will want material to start their kids with or even Flint knapping. Just my opinion, hell I'm probably wrong just ask my wife lol. Good luck Frank

I can only base the price on flint ridge flint. I went to the spring show this year and all the people I talked with was selling their flint of $4.00 per pound. And that flint is totally different flint. I'm not sure what your showing is flint, based on the pics. Just looks different.

I'll be honest with you- I wouldn't buy it. It's too plain. However, I think if you market it to nappers, not cabbers, you will have better luck.
eta- KNAPPERS, not tired people. LOL!

I wonder why I can't see any pictures? Because Photobucket has been ending free third party picture posting.

Lori, you can't see the photos because they are in photobucket. Pb now wants $400 a year ransom to unlock your photos on other sites.
