Zone 9 tolerant, daisy (composite flower) tight leathery leaf structure, dense growth habit. WTF is it? Here it is growing as a matted ground cover. growth habit of a single plant The flower is yellow. I want to identify this so I can research the efficacy as a lawn replacement. snuffyrockpickerforeverSabre52Tommy

@shotgunner
Dymondia margaretae Google it, lots of info for care.
Makes a great, drought resistant groundcover. I have some under my avo tree.

Thanks Jean. I knew you would nail it.
I'm hemming and hawing between this and a rock/gravel landscape for the front of my place. That green andesite from the green monster mine would be nice. And I can have a cactus garden as well....

Hey Scott I think Lynn yard in Cedar City was awesome! In your case add the cacuts and it's almost maintenance free and will be truly awesome after a rain shower!
