I am ordering a vibe tonight and would think I'll have it in a weeks time. I should be finished with my Ocean Jasper, 3 weeks in course this Saturday. If I'm happy with the shaping can I just keep the rinsed Ocean Jasper in water till my vibe shows up? I want to get started on something else in my rotary, while I wait for the vibe to show up.

Sure, you can do that. FWIW, my well rinsed rocks that are waiting to get moved to the next step after coarse are bone dry - they don't get stored in water. I understand the concern for wet storage, but it hasn't been an issue for me. Dave

Some keep the rocks in water , I don't . I feel if they are ready to be moved to the next stage and are totally cleaned up , there is no need for a bath . Give them a good wash run and rinse and inspection , you should be good to go .

I let mine dry out as they come out of course grit but once they start the Loto vibe I don't let them dry. The moisture is so touchy in a vibe.

Don't know if it matters but I keep my rocks in a bowl of water with borax mixed in.

I did decide on the 10, instead of the 18 though. I am actually considering picking up a 2nd TT B rotary, used. Need to think about it just a bit more. Cost for the used rotary will be cheaper right now and waiting on the vibe might be the way I go.

I think with my 2 rotarys, the mini should be good for going forward with. After a total of 5 weeks 60/90 sc, about half of it I feel is ready to move on. So the mini should be perfect.
