I decided to list this here, as opposed to the "creations" section, as I didn't create it. LOL....although I did find the jade piece. So as some of you know, Highway 1 has been in a state of disrepair for several months, due to the rains and mudslide catastrophe. There is only one road that takes you to the "jade areas" of Big Sur, and from my area it's rather long an tedious. So basically I made it out there once since the road problems started. When I was there, I found only one piece that had fairly nice color, but it had a lot of cracks and problem spots. So I sent it off to my jade artisan that I use, and he was able to make an abstract version of a ginkgo leaf. The notch is right (or left, depending on perspective) of center, to correct the crack that was present.
