don't know nothin' about vibe tumblers, but it sounds as though you lucked out today.....nice score.
is there a make and model you can search info on? i've researched the vibe's, they purport to be quicker and more efficient with materials....let us know how you make out with your "surprise"...

Hey John, Great find! Congratulations! I got a used vibe off of eBay recently. Haven't used it yet, but I've found out that mine is a 4 qt. bowl. I don't know for sure what lb. capacity it is yet, but I think it's about a 10 to 12 lb'er. It measures 11" dia. and is 3 1/2" deep. Your bowls must be MONSTERS! If I'm close to right about the lb. capacity of mine, then yours should be able to handle somewhere around 20 to 25 lbs each! WOW!

Hey John, I just looked in my Kingsley North catalog and it has a vibe with a 12 inch bowl (no depth listed) and it says it has "up to" 13 pound capacity, depending on what you have in it. And it lists for$419.00. Fate has smiled on you again ;D

Way to Go John!! I'm glad for ya Buddy!! You need another piece of equipment Now, where to put it??? Good going, you need some luck with all the crap you put up with from day-to-day. I wanna see first batch of polished rocks! Well, I guess we all do. Give me a report of how you like it as soon as you get it up and running. Thanks Bud

Dang, John, you are one lucky fella! You are always coming across some bargain! Ya' know, since you are getting so over loaded with equipment that you have no place for, you can always send some of it down here to BE and I. We'll try it all out and make sure it works! ;D llana

Hey John...congrats on the new tumbler...you lucky rascal.. ;D, sounds like you got the 'heavy-duty/deluxe' model..it's gonna take lots of rocks...and when you build that deck, make it big enough so you can have lots of room for your rocks & tumblers..cause I know it won't take you long to fill it up.. ..take some pics of your new tumbler and let us see it!! duke

hey llana you aint gonna believe what the bowls are on this thing i just looked on the bottom and each one is two ( texas ware ) mixing bowls the top of each bowl is another bowl turned over and glued on and the bottom cut out its a number 125 bowl,, this whole thing is homemade i thought the bowls where bought from tumbling supply but there not, well i know where to get replacements for it just glue two together and cut the bottom out of one i dont have a digital camera but when i get some film ill take a pic of it and let ya-s see its nuttin fancy but it works i tried it at the garage somebody made it all so keep your eyes open for me at the flee markets i could use a couple for a buck each they dont gotta be purty hahaha just not cracked (number 125 on the bottom) img37.photobucket.com/albums/v115/sandsman1/bowl1.jpg[/img]

you are going to have to put a lot more floor joist on the rock side of the deck with all the equipment and rock you have otherwise it will sag and the tumblers won't work right just slide to the center
