Here are the results of Sandsmans Carnelian after baking. John writes: "None of these where red except the three pieces that look alike. They had a thin red stripe going through them two (are at the bottom). The rest had like a yellow or orange color. The one with the stripe whet from about 1/4 inch to about 1/2 to 3/4 thick after cooked seeya john." Eat'um up. Yum yum hahaha!

Mine aren't nearly that red. I need to finish baking them. I'll post pics when I'm done.

hi all banjo those where in from like 9:30 in the morning till like 9:00 at nite i started to hot i put it on broil to start i blew up one rock and another fractured so if ya doit start around 300 and let them warm up then i went to 450 to 475 and the cracklin stoped so i left it there some didnt change but alot did seems like they hafta have some orange or red even if just alittle and they get alot nicer a couple came out same way they went in but it was worth it for the good ones seeya- john

hi all otter that was james idea i just stole it hahahaha he was tellin us he was cookin some up and i said hey i got some that could use allota help let me give it a try i was realy surprised how much some had changed but allso the stuff that looked very pale yellow or allmost clear didnt do much if anything so if you have some with even small spots of red or orange they have a good chance to get real nice thanks all for the kind words and thanks james now i feel like i acomplished something besides a chiped up batch of tears that i forgot to put pellets in for final wash hahahaha seeya--- john
