Gentlmen (andladies) once again I need advice, I have been trying to slab a 3lb pc of Malachite. I have turned 90 degrees and both ways it crumbles. my saw seems tuned ok what am i doing wrong, Thanks Jim Tawes

Sounds like it needs to be stabilized first.

I have found that rocks some people said crumble on them I have had no problem with. But I generally use a thin blade on a trim saw and don't force the rock. Thicker blades, especially if they is any warping I have found tend to cause crumbling when cutting.

Some pieces of Malachite are just not solid enough for cutting and will separate at the banding seams. I had some Zaire material back in the late 70s that a couple of pieces tended to separate when slabbing. You can try stabilizing it as John suggested or you can tumble the crumbled pieces.
