Wiz, Didn't you tell me your tree agate was not polishing as well? I can see it. Go to polish, I think, Then bring it back to polish again. I'm bringing my last batch of tree agate back through pre polish right now. I'l let you know. Everthing else is great! ;D

Did you do those in your homemade tumbler? They're looking good.

thanks all the tiger eye is from the rock shed "blue and golden". i don't know what the green ones are but it's the one the wife likes the most. the multi colored jasper "left of the tiger eye in the first pic is hard to polish seems to have hard and soft spots. i have all my stones so mixed up i don't know what is what any more. plus with summer here the boys are in to swimming in the pool all day and not worried about the rocks any more. in the first pic right side under the blue tiger eye is the turreilla agate that i said was hard to polish because the shells wear away leaving holes. rocky was working on a batch of this but i have not heard from her on how she made out

wiz some of my turritella has been in 60/90 for 2 weeks - recharged it yesterday so it's going on its 3rd week. it still has long way to go and i still have a lot of rough that i haven't begun yet. but i do finally have something that went to polish yesterday and a batch in 1000 a.o. no turritella in those though.

these have been in each stage for weeks and weeks i checked them last night after one day in polish and they looked great. the extra time spent in each stage was worth it. tried to post pics now but the lady next store to me just gave me some grain alcohol and i can just about type let alone use the camera so i will post some pics another day "just got my digital camera last week"

That's a good lookin' bunch of rocks, even without polishing! They are going to be beautiful when finished. That blue Tiger Eye is really nice - can't wait to see it polished. It's going to be a beauty!
grain alcohol
You are indeed a brave man! That stuff will knock your britches off if ya' ain't careful! ;D
