Hello Tami,
Congratulations on your Godhood!
Are you drying out from your recent rain yet? We still have water standing in the fields and the bar ditches.
Enjoy,
John

hey! great pic and that tattoo...whoohoo! I was going to get one for my 35th birthday to celebrate my spinsterhood...but then I met my husband. Then I was going to get one for my 40th birthday to celebrate middle age, but by then I had a one year old and damn...I don't feel middle-aged. So maybe for my 45th. But I have this theory about tattoos...tell me if I'm wrong.... Had I, for example (like one of my friends) had a big colorful parrot tattooed on my breast in my 20s by the time I hit 45...well even 42...let's just say that parrot would be looking sort of...elongated. So my theory is this...a person should only get a tattoo of things that naturally shift over time. I'm thinking of sand dunes on my butt. Then when they sag...er... "shift"...it'll be just like the real thing. Eh? Eh?

Congrats Tami! You made the 500 list. Nice cut, looks good on ya. Great pic. Both my daughters have tatoos, butterflies and lips and such. Herm, ya should have gotten the parrot, when you get to be about 70, it would have been a flamingo maybe? ;D Later, Don

No I didn' t have the glasses on in the first picture I shared with you all, my sister thought I looked better without them and I think I look better with them.
As for the Fairy it is a male wearing a loin cloth. I got my tattoo in 1997 when I was up in Michigan, it was one of those things that I had the money, and I was in the right place that had some of the best tattoo artist. You have to be prepared for the tatto because, I wouldn't really say it hurt as much as it was annoying after a while, luckily the guy was very patient and let me take a few breaks.
Bearcreeklapidary, yes we have pretty much dried out here, it did cause some more delays in getting sprinklers and sod put on it.

Hematite, I got my tatoo at 35 to celabrate a divorce and I got it on my butt. It's 2 roses wrapped around a black handled dagger and now, at 45, they are long stem roses wraped around a letter opener. On my 40th birthday I got my navel pierced, call it my middle age crazy. When I' 60 I'm gonna look down at that big saggy hole and say "What the hell was I thinkinG?" cookie

Hey cookie , why wait till you are 60 ? Hang a nicely polished rock on the ring in the navel and you will be sure to have that saggy hole much sooner. Saves a lot of waiting time. ;D

i don't think any of us are in a hurry to sag, though i would like to know now how they get the jewel in the dancing girls' navel......glue? ouchie getting it out, like contacts..
i had ears peirced (one hole each) when i was about 9 or so, if i hadn't done it then, i never would.
i considered tats off and on since i was about 19 (much the same as sky diving) but never did take the plunge, so to speak..pain isn't something that i invite. enough comes your way without invitation,,,, both physical and mental..

Yes the jewels in the belly buttons are attached with a special glue.
