The disease continues to spread. Donwrob got me fired up when I saw his work. Now thanks to him, and some counsel from Docone. I have brought it to completion. I went back and checked when Don posted his stuff, and when I got mine and it has been a MONTH!! Man did I learn a lot, and I have a new respect for those who have this as their chosen profession. It is incredible rewarding, and at the same time taxing. So thanks for the help, Don and Doc, this is what I have to offer on my first project. There are boo-boos up the ying-yang on this thing, but I had to remind myself, "It is practice", and I really did learn a lot. Thanks for looking!

Well you don't find many of these when you go out 'rock houndin' that's for sure. It's a very rare 'Rose Colored Marble'. ;D Jack Lahr includes a few of these in the kit. It is astounding how good this looks when the light hits it right. Don was right when he said, photos don't do these justice. Good lighting makes all the difference in the world. It would probably be even better if the glass did'nt have so many bubbles in it. But after all the time I spent on this, I am sure not going to spend another month on a marble!! I have some Amythist and Citrine, I'd like to try. And I have enough packed away, where it won't be a total loss it one gets goofed up. But I'm sure Don and Doc will help...{hope, hope}

;D CONGRATS Banjo! Super job, that is one pretty marble buddy. You really spent the time on it and it shows. I think we have to be a little twisted in the head to put ourselves through this, but it is super rewarding when done. I can see why doc has such a love for it and now you and I. I really enjoyed the IM's during your progress. You should be real proud of that one Banjo, cheers, Don

I'll bet you felt great when you finally completed that Banjo. It looks good. Much better than I would probably do with it. Wait til I show these to hubby. That will fire him up even more. I finally got his piece of glass yesterday. He's anxious to get started!

I wish your husband all the patience and precision in the world. God, bless him! I know Donwrob is more than willing to help, he got me through a few rough spots, and Docone has an open ear, with lots of expertise. I'll share anything I've learned. It's well worth it when it is all done. Very time consuming though, doing it by hand. But the payoff is bigger ;D
