Wow John,
that is alot like what I got. So Colorful. Tumble some of it, you'll be amazed. The color is gonna jump out at you ;D If It comes out like mine, it looks like someone painted on the stone. Good luck and keep us posted

as pretty as all mex crazy lace is, even i've seen better , you are right, sands, and i'm new to this all. there are some nice bits there as Andy has highlighted. cut those bits out on your trim saw and tumble them a little, or just grind them out and polish, will make nice pendants. i love that stone, hard as crap to cut and drill, but worth the efffort.

cookie i got like six small chunks allmost 10lb and im saving the ends for the tumbler cause i wanna see what your talkin bout haha---i tried to start grinding a piece i cut down and it kept chipping,, so im gonna put the slabs away till i fig a way to shape it with out it chipping maybe it will grind better with a diamond wheel

I just got some from Kingsley North. Very pretty and has a varied assortment of colors. I can't wait to get it started. I will probably have a barrel open soon and now I have to decide, do I tumble the crazy lace or the blue quartz? Decisions decisions. Otter |

Another tumbler? If I bought another tumbler it would have to be another 33B. Geez I don't know if I'd have time to keep up with 7 barrels! I can barely manage the 5 I have rolling now! But I'll end up with another one someday soon. Right now I have been spending my extra cash on stuff for hubby (saw blades, drill bits, diamond grit, etc. etc.). My next purchase will be a 3A for my dad and one for my 8-year old. (I've created a couple of monsters!) Who knows, I've got a birthday coming up in a few months maybe then. Or maybe the grinder. Or maybe the trim saw. Or maybe some malachite rough. Or maybe.......aw hell.

only in our case the addiction is stone and we have this rock sickness and there doesn't seem to be a cure. we are ALL mad and we are all celebrate the fact (kinda like religion)! we relish in it, in fact, egg each other on, to aspire to want MORE, more more, Better, shiny, pretty.
