Spent the day at my Mom's on Friday. Here is what we made. The first two pics is the wire-wrap my Mom made. Her first attempt. The other two is the bracelet I made. She bought one of those jigs and asked me to figure out how to use it and then teach her. Thanks for looking! Otter

Hey Otter, Nice job on the wrapping. You're getting this thing down pretty good. The one your mom did ain't too shabby either-very nice as a matter of fact.

I have to join in on the kudos. Real clean job. Especially for a first attempt. The splice on the front of the wrap fits in with the wrap. Well done. Looks an awful lot better than my first wrap.

Thanks everyone. Mom will be pleased to here what you had to say. The bracelet I made from 20 guage, round, soft copper. The dangles from the bracelet are made of silver-colored head pins. I didn't have any gold colored and haven't been able to find any cooper findings. I would have made my own (I made the jump rings) but we were running out of time so we cheated. The stone is made from 22 guage, square, soft brass. The stone is one of mine. Believe it or not it's one of my driveway rocks. Mom fell in love with this one as soon as she saw it. I have a couple more that are just as pink but smaller. My oldest daughter was disappointed that I gave the bracelet to Nana, so I made her an anklet today. I'd take a pic but I don't think I could get her to take it off. I made it with brass wire and lapis chip beads. It came out really well. This jig is alot of fun. Otter

Thanks Tami. I'm hoping that after the kids go back to school next week that I'll have more time to play. I'm really enjoying making the jewelry. It's very relaxing to me.
