Hi all. I was slabbing some Brazilian Agate the other day and came across this. When you hold it up to the light, the colors look like a real sunset. This is a scanned image-but I'm still working on getting that digital camera. the other side

Stoner,
Great find and doesn't it just boggle the your mind at how something like that was formed.
These are my favorite kinds of rocks, those with pictures in them!
That is one awesome slab!
Enjoy,
John

Hey all. Yea, it is amazing what one finds in these stones, and the processes that take place to make it all happen. The slab is only 2" across by about 1.5" high, and I've decided to make a nite-lite out of it to show the sunset colors. Everyone I've showed it to are amazed at how real it looks, one of those "once in a million" happenings.
Thanks, Ed
