Here is the piece I was recently given by Billy ( toiv0). Very similar to what Tommy wants to cut/cab. Not exactly the same, but very porous. Some areas will probably crumble unless cut very carefully. I love this piece of ancient history and feel honored that I have been entrusted with it. I will need to get more equipment before I can transform it from a rough specimen. Might just use my manual jewelry saw (diamond blade) and saw off a little to do some hand cabbing. Your pieces are an inspiration on what this material has the potential for.
