Llana and I spent the afternoon cutting and whacking rocks. Nothing too unusual about that! But starting with our water reservoir full of water and the proper amount of Cool Lube, we later ran out of Cool Lube when coolant needed to be added. We talked about going to our one and only little store in town to get baby oil, but I went in the house to see if I had some. I didn't have any baby oil, but I did have Avon Skin So Soft which lists it primary ingredient as being mineral oil. So for the rest of this afternoon, we added water and Skin So Soft when we needed to top off the reservoir.
It seemed to work great..........the saw blade didn't seem to get hot...........it helped to repel the millions of mosquitos that were trying to eat us.........and after it all, everything (us, our rocks, and the saw) smell really NICE!
Not that I would recommend this for everyone for everyday use, but in our 'emergency', it seemed to do the job and had some wonderful side effects!
