I am still waiting for someone to tell me what that black one (front side of the round one with eyes) is Allison, I had some down time and spent alot of time on the net trying to figure out what you have. No real luck which is not unexpected. Based upon what I've seen, however, I wonder if you simply have something referred to as black agate. I know you mentioned it above, but I found lots of material that looked black like that. Of course, I'm sure the rind is what's caused the questions, but I'll only offer this. I got some Condor Agate nodules this past year at Quartzite. As a test, I threw a couple whole nodules into the tumbler to see what happened instead of cutting them to expose the banding. What I was left with are the bottom two rocks in photo #6 in my thread with the #2 batch I recently posted. The rind looks nothing like the inside which should be brown with some vivid banding (if all goes well). So, my point is, maybe the rind means little and doesn't speak to what's actually inside (black agate?). Don't know, as I typically ID little, and I'd take what I have to offer with a grain of salt.

I appreciate it Dave I've been searching like crazy I've been told maybe a Pirhana Brazilian, maybe a thunderegg, who knows?? I'd like more of it, whatever it is. It was sent to manofglass who generously sent it to me in a box of other wonderful stuff. He doesnt remember what it is. I like to tease him about old age and all that. 😁

Only agate with tube-like eye formations that I can think of that has not only the purple and pink with white eyes along with black is Agua Nueva. Very weak suggestion, as I haven't seen that much with black. Certainly is attractive, though.

Missed the excitement. First and foremost I am glad you are not injured. Is this #3 ? Hey, people that do a lot get hurt a lot. Shocked (bad choice) at the rocks you are playing with. The last pink on is amazing. so is the round one with the eyes all over it. Stay well and work safe Allison. You were too busy playing with the glass Didn't miss much and I am well-just bruised and abs are still sore It really kind of fascinated me at how tight the muscles got and the amount of pain there was. I am no wienie, but this rocked me a tad. I am still waiting for someone to tell me what that black one (front side of the round one with eyes) is No telling what a shock can command your muscles to do. It can severely tense them as you probably found out. Getting shocked across your heart(left hand to right hand) is the one that kills in most cases. And a shock from hand to hand is often extremely painful leaving you feeling like a truck hit you, sore. That pink stone is awesome. It almost looks chatoyant. "Electricity always takes the shortest path. If you grab two wires, one with each hand, what's the shortest path between those wires? Through your arms and through your chest (including your heart). So if you grab two wires of the opposite polarity, you'll get electrocuted. When this happens, the electricity goes through your heart, which can cause it to stop or even burn (depending on the amount of current), thus making you die. If you're going to get electrocuted, you want the electricity to go down your side, not between your arms. By holding wires with only one hand and touching nothing but your own self with the other, if you get zapped, the electricity will go through your arm, down your side, and through your foot, rather than through your heart. You could still get very badly injured, but you won't be killed instantly."
