So, here's my tub of rocks in my garage. These are the ones that weren't Fairburns but were otherwise interesting. Rocks waiting to be cut, rocks waiting to be tumbled... I can't even move it because it's so heavy. I'm now officially a rock hoarder. Attachments:

Just a thought. You might want to consider other storage options. Old library card file cabinets work great and allow for separating and labeling.
Upgrading from buckets to a cabinet elevates you from hoarder to a collector. lol.

I actually do have a 5-gallon bucket full of ziploc bags full of petrified wood, fossils and rocks I want to tumble in my dining room, maybe a cabinet is the answer! Collector sounds way better than hoarder.

I get ruthless and somehow manage to purge some of my hoard every few months but I can't let them go all the way so they end up in my yard as plant borders etc...you never know when you might need them again

I smell like bleach and yard mulch. miket ...just one bucket? You're doing fine!

I have 4 buckets in the back of my rental, 10 lfrb waiting for me I have bought when on the road and maybe 200 plus buckets in my garage. Just so you know what to look forward to.
