I can't really help on the id of this, but it sure is pretty. Could be something from the Owyhees or around that area.

Hard to tell, because of the reflections, but old Bat Cave/Rim jasper came to my mind. Some of it had streaks and scenes, rather than bull's-eye layering.

This material came from a rock shop that closed in Austin, Texas. It consisted of small flat pieces that were greenish/red on the outside and looked layered. Most cabs were black, most showed some translucency when back lighted, and all took a great polish in the vibe. I didn't post the photos for the black cabs which most pieces were. My guess was most people wanted what I showed and not the black.
