Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement and nice comments! I have been ruminating over this design for a while and was so pleased with how it turned out. I may try it with jade or serpentine as well. I posted this on my Facebook page and my dad asked if he could have it to give to my mom for Christmas because she likes it so much. It was so sweet!
