Not really a rock show, so am posting here.
I was chosen to be one of the artists for the annual Arts Walk in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
If anyone is going to be in Central Wisconsin on May 17th, please stop by.
The event features about 50 local visual and performing artists who set up in or in front of businesses along Main Street.
There will be several lapidary artists with displays. Several local bands/musicians will also be doing street performances, including student musicians.
The event culminates with what is called The Mass Guitar Incident. Anyone who plays a stringed instrument was given the opportunity to obtain the sheet music for 3 songs. In the past, there have been over 100 people performing together.
This is a wonderful way to showcase the abundance of talent in the area.
I am estimating there are now over 250 visual and performing artists in the County. This area is the mecca for artistry in Wisconsin.
Most businesses participating have the same artist(s) every year. I was fortunate to have a new business want to join in and I was paired with them. Am hoping that I will become their featured artist in the future.
