stardiamond If I might ask why did you order new bubblers? I am just curious. I have an old Titan and have never ordered bubblers. I did discover that you can't leave them in the water when done or they plug up but a fine wire will clean them out and once clean I remove them as soon as I am done grinding. I do know the genie bubblers are smaller than what they supplied on the titan. Also, have you ever tried using a bubbler with a fish tank air pump. I am still using the pump that came with the titan but I figure as old as it is I need to have a backup plan. TIA

2 8" Hard wheels; jade carver, 280 8" soft Baltic. This is where I got stupid. I needed to by cool lube and previously bought it from Johnson Brothers. Since I was going to pay a lot for shipping, I added to my order. I really wanted a 220 soft and Baltic on ebay only had a 280. I had a 220 JB supernova and it held up well. My 6" 12,000 and 50,000 dp wheels are due for replacement. I have 3 bubbler/sprayers and one is better than the other two and that is what the ones at JB looked like. I'm a strong believer in using max water with the wheels. They cut faster and cleaner with messy material. I understand that JB wheels are not suppose to be good anymore, but I'll take a chance. IT's not like buying a new car.
I haven't bought a DP wheel for some time The 8" Baltic wheel was $95, the 8" JB was $75, the two 6" JB wheels were $50 each and the two hard wheels were $276 delivered for both. Those would be at least $50 more DP and I have a lot of experience with both.

I reconfigured the machine to have 5 wheels so the drippers didn't align. I bashed a hole in the front panel so I could use my genie tray and recirculating water like the genie. I have two aquarium pumps for 3 bubblers. The pump belt on my Genie broke and the left side wheels are frozen. I bought a pump kit and some vice grips but unless I need to change my left side wheels I can get by using the same bubblers for both machines. The DP geysers are much better what I am using is satisfactory.

All my supplies have arrived including a more powerful aquarium pump. I took a picture to compare the johnson brothers 220 soft with the 280 from Lithuania. I have user the JB wheel before and was very satisfied and hoping the quality is the same. The wheel has a lot of rubber texture than the 280 from Lithuania. Replacing the wheels on my stardiamond machine takes more than an hour and the wheels on the machine now are more than serviceable. I have being using the 80, 220 hard and 220 soft (all dp) on my genie to do recent work. The stardiamond vibrates more than the genie and my geysers like to dance around. With new wheels the stardiamond will cut a lot faster. I'm working on fixing cabs that I already cut over the years and will only use the stardiamond for the 600 and 1200 soft.
