Butterfly wing jasper and Nipomo Marcasite

These are two of the searches I do on ebay and etsy. Nothing on etsy that I was interested in. On Ebay there is very little but there a ton of Butterfly Wing cabs made in India and a bunch of Nipomo Marcasite cabs with a further disclaimer that it is Indonesian material. I wonder if the Butterfly wing isn't from Mexico or the India manufacturers bought it all up.

I did manage to win an auction on Nipomo that looks like it has potential. Shipping cost was high but I expect good yield.

It was an auction and I was the only bidder

I took another look at the butterfly wing from India and it said the source was Australia.

This piece of butterfly is on auction ending today. I would really like it but not at what it will sell for.

Auction is over at $70 delivered. The seller gets good prices, have bought from him and was somewhat disappointed with the material.
$63 was the winning bid and for me to get it would have been more possibly substantially more. That kind of money makes sense for a serious collector or someone with a reputation who gets high prices for their cabs.

Wow. Who knew anyone would ever be able to sell this material for $75/lb.
