Uh... are they safe out there?
Looks very nice! But I see quite a bit of rock there that I wouldn't want to walk away were that my Rock Garden.

The family are the only ones that use the back entrance or even know it's there as we have a porch with the main entrance at the front of the house. Also, fortunately/unfortunately there are not many in this area into anything lapidary so most people would not have a clue what any of it is. There are a few people on the forum who have my address from purchases I have made but they seem like good folks, plus they live very far away . Al

Al Appreciate the offer, Al, but we already have a couple of tons to contend with. Don't think we need to add any more, even though it seems to happen anyway.

The box issue is what really precipitated the move. By getting some of the stones outside it will be a lot more manageable inside. We will also be able to spread out the slabs a bit more in our work area. Al

Nice.
I have some in my back rock garden area, but do not go there too often.
So, your rough rocks are reminding you they are still there, patiently waiting, every time you walk by.

I would be worried about freeze cracking when storing rock outside??? I was thinking about that. I don't think I am bothered by anything destined for the tumbler, but some of the ones I plan on eventually cutting will probably come inside for the winter. It's a work in progress for sure. I'm thinking eventually it will be filled with just tumbling materials while the cutters and slabs end up on shelves in the basement by the work bench and shelves we're building. Al
