As noted in my intro post I am extremely interested in carving gemstones. I am more into carving in three dimensions than I am in working with cabachons. I look forward to enjoying the work of others a and learning from your collective experiences. I hope that I can eventually add value to these threads!

Rockjunkie, you have just made my day! Thank you so much for the link - I will be sure to comment after I have reviewed the e-book more carefully.
Those of us who have been around the horn appreciate forums where people try to be helpful. In the brief time that I have been a member of this one I have truly been struck by the quality and frequency of posts. I sure am glad to have found this site.
