So the last few days my Lortone QT66 has been stopping for no reason. I opened the barrels and the slurry was pretty thick so I added some water and thought that was it. But no, it ran for awhile and stopped again. So I took the cover off and the belt was a little loose. I took off the nuts holding the motor in place and moved it a little bit out to give the belt some tension. The only problem is that when I put the nuts back on the bolts one of the bolts snapped off inside of the nut- and I didn't think I put too much pressure into tightening it. There's no way that bolt should have broken. I called Lortone and they want me to send it in so they can fix it, but I think that I'll look at it first and see if I can fix it. Anyway, if anyone else runs into this problem don't overtighten the nuts! If anyone else has ever had this happen and has some advice, that would be great.
