Just saw this and was amazed. Someone in a nearby town is offering a 3' by 1' shelf space for $50.00/month. Price increases $10.00 by foot, up to an 8' shelf. they are accepting antiques and hand made items.
Say they will do all advertising for vendors and send monthly checks for all items sold. No commission for sales. Notify vendors when more items are needed to fill their shelf. VEndors are
Considering there are many boutiques, gift shops and antique stores which offer individual spaces of 4' by 4' for $75.00/month up to 10' by 10' spaces for $200.00/month. Many other retailers, such as bars, bakeries and restaurants allow locals to display their pieces.
I am going to pass on this "opportunity".

I would say I have oceanfront property in Arizona but heck I don't own any property anyways...LOL. Geez, the shelf must be made of gold or something.

Depends on the foot traffic and the sellers goods. If the shelf turned $500/month it's a good deal. But you need feet in the venue to do that.

Located in a community of about 6000 people. There are a number of similar shops like this already there. They all have spaces, not shelves. I might check it out the next time I am in that town.
