Today was a cab fix day. I put 4 cabs on dops and a Howardite that had a minor fractured edge in my pocket and went to my outside cabbing area. I reached into my pocket and pulled out 4 cabs on dops and the Howardite was gone. The only place it should have been was by my feet. I looked for a short while and then worked on the other cabs. My work area could best be described as a pig sty. The floor is dirt and from working on it a couple inches of dust. I got a rake and swept the dirt into a pile and then sifted through it. No cab. I did find a Tahoma that I made a long time ago and thought I could put a better polish on it. It went flying off the polishing pad and took an interesting path. I also found a dop stick and uneven slab of Bruneau that I can probably make a cab with. This happens frequently. Sooner or later the Howardite will reappear.

This pet wood disappeared a week ago from an outdoor coffee table that I used to select cabs to work on. It reappeared today on the same table. I spent some time looking for it.
