Wife bought a chunk of rock at Richardson's rock ranch, some sort of jasper or something volcanic. I don't have a clue what it is and neither did john at the ranch.

Nice pattern! Colors and contortion with a bit of brecciation remind me of some Antelope jasper slices I've had.

It also looks like some Holt Canyon agate/jasper from Utah. I'd show a photo, but it would take a year to locate the piece. Lynn

It also looks like some Holt Canyon agate/jasper from Utah. I'd show a photo, but it would take a year to locate the piece. Lynn I was thinking Holt Cyn as well. Here are some I collected a while back, I only kept the ones that had more agate in them, but you can see the resemblance.
