I am still amazed at how much shipping times vary.
I was sent a SFRB on 10/7. Just checked and the box will be delivered today.
It only took 10 hours for the box to go from Central Florida to the Distribution Center about 1.5 hours from me, in Oshkosh, WI.
I have learned something. Am guessing some USPS trucks have multiple stops, depending on contents. Others do not need to stop and are designated for one regional distribution center. A lot depends on how many packages are addressed to one specific distribution center.
There have been many times when a USPS, Priority Mail box has taken 5 days to get to me.
Has anyone else noticed this variance in delivery times?

If it came that quick from Florida I'm guessing it was on a plane. I'd bet they contract through UPS or something similar to expedite shipping.
It's funny, in another thread I read recently about the USPS I was thinking I've never had a problem with them. Then I buy some diamond core bits for a project and they were supposed to be delivered Sept 20th. Still not here. I went to the local post office and they looked deeper into it. Small pkg that probably got lost in a tote somewhere. Email the seller and asked him to resend the order. I got the usual reply "it's on its way"... So IDK if that means he resent it or if he thinks the first PKG is still in transit. I suppose I could email him back again... I'm not holding my breath.

I have had packages delivered to the wrong address. Never was able to get insurance $ from those, as they were delivered.
Have had packages arrive with broken contents. Either minimal or no insurance $ from them.
Have had packages supposedly delivered that I never received. No insurance money and no refund from seller.
When purchasing items from private parties or sending them, it is a crack shoot. Maybe the USPS will get it right, mabe they will not.
I am speaking from over 30 years experience.
On a brighter not, I recently was at my PO asking about a small package I was supposed to receive. They did not find mine, but one of a close neighbor. Asked if I could take it to my disabled neighbor, which I did. She had been calling about the package a lot, as her life depended on it.
So am hoping I now have good karma with the PO.
